We were called out recently for an emergency repair as our client's contractor had piled through the existing sewer line, and as a result, the existing sewer was filled with concrete.

To rectify the issue, NG Tunnelling were contracted to carry out a timber heading from inside the
manhole on site, and followed the existing line to break out the concrete. Our operatives broke out a
full face of concrete, and laid a new pipe run to replace the former line.

Entry into the 8m deep manhole required forced ventilation and a gantry system due to the confined and constricted area.
