Clearing of an underground pipe blocked with concrete in North West London.

• A 3m deep shaft was excavated to locate the existing sewer.
• A section of the pipe was cut out to enable jetting of the sewer.
• After the blockage was cleared, the existing sewer was reinstated with bandseals.

Works were undertaken within a restricted space beside a basement formation, hence the requirement for a narrow width excavation.
