National Portrait Gallery Project – London, Covent Garden

Excavation of a 4 metre deep shaft was carried out on site together with driving a 7 metre timber heading to the main sewer. A catch pit chamber was also constructed on site. An obstruction of the existing foundation was encountered and broken through by our operatives in order to make the new connection to site.
